ProMES® - Productivity Measurement and Enhancement System

"ProMES is a highly effective management system for measuring and improving the productivity, effectiveness, and overall performance of people in organisations. It was invented by the Industrial and Organisational psychologist Robert D. Pritchard, professor emeritus at the University of Central Florida.

Following the principle “work smarter, not harder“, establishing ProMES leads to significant gains in productivity and noticeable improvements concerning job satisfaction, team climate and reduced stress. To do ProMES, a sophisticated system of measuring performance is developed by the people doing the work and then feedback on these measures is used to help personnel improve their performance." - quotation from the website

Challenge:

My tasks were to create Illustrations for the ProMES website, design a ProMES Award Certificate and finally a short explanation film for the system.

The website needed to contain 5 illustrations for the 5 main topics (ProMES, Competence, Science, Practise, 100 Days) and a permanent upper stripe for each topic, that marks our location on the site. And besides, some complementary illustrations and sketchy mindmaps.

Solution:
I wanted to fill this clean and elegant framework with some lively illustrations and thus bring the viewer closer to the topic. The colourful, fresh and playful illustrations make a fine contrast with this very professional website.

For the scketches, I took the main blue color of the logo and the website, and applied it on my own handwriting.

Science
We wanted to show, that ProMES is evidence based. That is why planning and realizing the plan are both shown in this picture.

ProMES
ProMES is like a fish swarm, employees work together, the business structure is more flexible. This thought inspired my idea.

Practise
Everyone can profit from ProMES, no matter where or which professional field.

Competence
I designed cartoon caricatures of the 5 ProMES experts.

100 days

The business prospers with ProMES during the 100 days trial.

Challenge:

A certificate for teams and individuals for successfully implementing ProMES.

Solution:

I designed the certificate using the already existing elements: the blue color, the fonts from the website and my own handwriting.
